Many new cars have what's called in the

industry swirls marks and light scratches that are only visible in direct sunlight, and these dull the finish in all types of light. New cars often also have contamination problems; as new cars are shipped long distances before they are delivered, and without the any protection which can make the surface of the vehicle rough to the touch. This process is far better than any of the protection treatments the dealership will apply. We also offer a Race Car Detailing package, this performance enhancing treatment is specially designed to offer the most amount of protection possible to all of the exterior surfaces of the vehicle whilst maintaining the spotless professional clean look. The coating that is used is a nano scale composite material, this is the most durable coating Crystal Clear has come across and this can last up to 30,000 miles. So what's the process... Firstly, the paintwork is coated with a hydrophobic layer (whether your car is paint, carbon fibre, vinyl, matt or satin finish) this is highly resistant to abrasion, largely reducing the appearance of scuffs and scratches by up to 50%. The wheels of the car are also treated to heat resistant wheel armour, which will help to reduce the build up of tar and rubber and make them easier to clean. The windscreen and side/rear windows are also coated to increase visibility in wet conditions (not uncommon in the UK!). At 30-40mph, the beads of water on the windows will start to fly off, this increasing visibility and in some circumstances reducing track times. Once you have had this treatment you will only need a wipe-over with quick detailer and this will maintain the finish and the highly professional racing look.
